"Update on Propane NW... A very rude woman called me on Thursday, and informed me that her "driver" tried to pick up the monitor from our tank. The truth is nothing like this. When I found her "driver," he was in the process of removing the take. The monitor was on the outside of the tank, and he had already removed the top of the tank, and was proceeding to wrestle with the bolts on the tank. That's when I asked he if I could help him. He said he was here to pick up the tank. I told him that was our tank, and he continued to fiddle with it. I asked him if I needed to call the sheriff, and that's when he left. So he could have taken his monitor right there. But he didn't. On Thursday a very rude woman from Propane NW (which is really Thompson Gas that originated out of Boonsboro, Maryland, but they continue to lie and say they are a local company--the local company they HAD been sold out to this Maryland company earlier this year) called and insisted that I had not allowed the driver to take the monitor. I told her this was untrue. She then demanded that I take the monitor and set it at the end of my driveway right then. Still trying to be kind to this very demanding, irrational, and very rude woman; I explained to her what happens in Ocean Shores when you set things out at the end of your driveway--people think it's for free, and they take it! She then insisted that her driver needed to come to our house. So I called OSP, and Officer Church (a very competent, kind, and responsible person) suggested that the driver use a civil assist to pick up the monitor. I called Propane NW, and explained the situation. The same rude woman became irate and put me on hold for 10 minutes. She then came back and demanded that I drive the monitor to her in Aberdeen. Now today, I see that on March 17, 2022, I was charged a service call for $272. Propane NW is over a dollar a gallon higher in cost, their service is terrible, and their actions with customers is very unprofessional and unreasonable!"
