"Terrible prep for winter conditions. Little to no management of ice and snow, poor traction on tires of truck resulting in it getting stuck in the middle of the lot. Couldn’t even get it close to our storage unit. We had to melt ice and shovel snow ourselves with very minimal support from employees in order to get the truck to where we needed it. This took a couple hours, you’re welcome for the free labor. Please invest in a plow and salt dispenser."

"Savannah Is amazing! I have worked with her for the past two years as we have sold our property near her location and prepared for our move to Phoenix. We started with a local truck rentals as we prepared our house for sale. Then we added a large storage unit for some of our household goods, then another large unit to hold more furniture. She recommended the moving crew that we used and of course multiple U-Haul truck rentals. She guided me in which truck (26’) and auto carrier to use and even suggested your U-Haul boxes (3) for the extra capacity that we needed in the end. We loaded everything yesterday and leave with our loaded truck and Teslsa on the trailer this morning. Savannah has been amazing throughout this whole extended process. She has been very professional, knowledgable, and helpful. And, always with a smile."

"Amazing customer service! The staff made our stressful moving day a lot easier by accommodating our request to pick up our trailer at a later time since our move had taken longer than expected. Once we arrived at the location, they were extremely quick with assisting us with loading our car onto the trailer. During our drive we ended up blowing a trailer tire and their emergency line was easy to use and someone arrived to change the tire in about an hour which was amazing with where we were!"

"Be very aware and wary of storing anything remotely sensitive here. And if you do choose to, DO NOT take the recommended house insurance company from U-Haul called RepWest Insurance. A quick google search will show you why; extremely poor reviews and numerous complaints. They have a lower rating with the Better Business Bureau as well. They will NOT cover you. Read the terms and conditions (just 1 page) and you will see it is crafted in a manner to avoid paying out on most normal things. The facility itself is heavily flawed in design. The storage unit walls do not reach the ceiling and leave anywhere from a 12-18 inch gap. A wall runs between 2 rows of units, so someone with access to a unit in that row just has to climb and crawl along the wall and look into each unit until they see something worth stealing. They simply drag it back to their unit, stuff it in a box and leave the facility without raising any suspicion or alarm. This is exactly what happened to me and 2 hunting rifles were stolen. Management here is well aware of this issue and the Ferndale police officer that came out to take a report remarked “it’s a problem here”. There were foot and hand marks on the wall coming down from the ceiling. The assistant manager on site (nice guy actually) notified the regional manager since the police were there and what she said verbatim without even knowing the full extent of what happened was: “oh we are not paying out for anything”. Not 1 ounce of concern. Although callous, she was right. The U-Haul partnered RepWest Insurance did not pay out. Their excuse was there was no physical damage to gain entry (exact words from the terms page) so they don’t cover. In other words because the thieves are smarter than to just go around kicking in doors or using hammers it’s not on them to cover. Horrible experience here, please heed the warning. If you do choose to store here use your own insurance."
