"Mostly stumbled across PSSI while looking for beginner sailing lessons in the Seattle area. Signed up with them in Tacoma (Tyee Marina) due to competitive price but even more so class availability. Overall a very positive experience. The course pre-work, including their video series, was very informative (I'm an absolute beginner) and the course instructor, Mike C, did a great job teaching the class. On the first day of the 2-day course he said that his goal was to "get us sailing" which at the time sounded like a thing all instructors say. But over the course and following it he went above and beyond to bridge the gap to sailing opportunities for us as well as many recommendations for wind/weather apps, etc. which I really appreciated. Can't compare to other courses/schools as this was my first one but strongly recommend if you are looking for ASA 101 certification."

"I recently completed the ASA101 Basic Keelboat class with Captain Dave and could not have been more impressed and pleased with the outcome. The in-person training, both on and off the boat, was excellent, and the pre-videos by Mike Rice helped tie the book to the boat experience wonderfully.
