"They destroy all product and when confronted with this their manager Jeff Darcy gets rude and defensive pretty much saying it’s my fault my tiles were broken. I recommend nobody do business with these people . Jeff Darcy is a jerk and I don’t understand how someone with such poor customer service skills is in charge there."
"Do not waste your time. This place is pure garbage. They boast about new tractors but they are the cheapest International models they could piece together. The trailers are old as dirt and barely can pass a d.o.t. inspection. They don't care about how they load the trailers so the freight is more often than not broken and damaged when it gets to the next destination. Most employees quit within a month."
"All: I have updated this review after 10 months and updated it to 3 stars (you can see the original review below). I had a pallet to send to Amazon and they booked Central Transport. Immediately I was concerned about my previous experience but with Amazon, if you cancel a shipment, it can take up to a week to get all the approval to cancel and it's better to let the shipping company complete (or not) then submit a missed shipment complaint. Central transport was on time and the driver was very courteous and helpful. I have since used Central Transport twice and they were again, on time and the driver was great. I'm super happy with the whole situation. This company took my order fully aware that they could not pick up the shipment and did not have enough drivers. They never notified me that they wouldn't be able to pick up my pallet, forcing our team to call them everyday for an update. Each phone call was responded with a lackadaisical, "we'll pick up tomorrow". On day 4 we finally cancelled the order and went with another company. Absolutely do not do business with this company. Central Transport does not care about your business. Like another review stated; I would pay twice as much to another company before using Central Transport again."
"Been waiting on a shipment that’s been sitting at the shipping receiving terminal now for almost a month. The company I purchased from was prompt in getting it sent out. Central transport was quick to pick it up and move it from Kentucky to Oregon, but when I contact their item tracking department I get the same response every time for a month now. Short staffed and unable to get it unloaded to send out for delivery. Even though it’s in my town supposedly and it’s just sitting on a truck. I even paid additional money for it to be brought directly to me, I would happily go to the terminal and pick it up myself. But since they say they can’t get it off the truck in over a month that’s not even a possibility. This is the last time I let anything be shipped by this company. I’m not sure if or when I will see the $800 item that’s been paid for. The shipping company has been paid in advance before they would even pick it up from the seller, I bet if they got paid when they delivered the item they would be on top of it then."
"I will never use Central Transport again. The tracking number said our shipment has been in the service terminal for almost two weeks now and each day the delivery date changes to the following day. They respond quickly to email inquiries, which would be great if they were actually able to provide any useful information except "Apologies for the inconvenience." Wouldn't recommend even to my worst enemy."
