"Estes handled a freight delivery for us. Since this was a residential delivery an appointment was necessary to schedule a time for someone to be home and sign for it. After tracking said it arrived into the local warehouse, I waited two days for them to call and schedule my residential delivery. Since I heard nothing from Estes, I tried calling them five times over two days, but no one answered the phone- they don’t even have voicemail. I also sent an email asking to schedule delivery, no reply. Fortunately a few days later they handed it off to another local carrier that made the actual home delivery, and they were awesome."

"I ordered am expensive plate compactor from Home Depot, primarily because this one had the shortest delivery time & I also knew it would do the job I needed to get done well. But rains are coming, and I’ve had City compliance on my back since the day placed the order - I needed this days ago, yet it STILL just sitting in CA not moving! Delivery times keep getting pushed out longer each day, as I diligently check to see if it is on a truck yet on its way to Portland, but then, again “no”. Just keeps sitting there collecting dust!! I called Home Depot to complain but not much they could offer accept to CANCEL this one and then “ship to store” (10 min from my house). Since several days had gone by already I figured that would just slow things down because I knew the item would go to the same terminal in Portland for both cases, plus I was worried I wouldn’t be able to get it in my truck or out so I decided to stick with the delivery to where the project is and that the $50 delivery charge was worth it vs free pick up and possibly struggle loading to my truck. But now I kind of wish I had done that - because it’s URGENT I get this equipment to finish the work and fix a current hazardous condition on the road! Maybe they would prioritize moving it from their San Diego terminal to Portland if the delivery adress said “Home Depot” on it vs my adress 10 minutes away from 2 Home Depot’s. I would have looked elsewhere for a compactor if the delivery time posted when I purchased the item said it would take this long! It literally said it would take just a few days. This is UNACCEPTABLE to be this late and provide such crummy estimates for a company like Home Depot. We DEPEND on the equipment we need to get here when it says it is going to! I’m going to complain to Home Depot again about this shipper because they keep changing and pushing out the delivery date….UNACCEPTABLE! Home Depot needs a more reliable shipping vendor!"

"The WORST shipping company on planet earth. I've ordered from Lowes 2 times for kitchen cabs. Shipment arrived at the local hub. Each time Estes held the shipments for 5 days! When I ordered Lowes said Aug 8th delivery Then Aug 14th Then Aug 18th now Aug 21st. Lowes needs to use a different carrier. Their customer service is TERRIBLE too. Clueless employees."

"Worst experience ever with this company! Took a whole day off work waiting for my shipment to be picked up as per my Bill of Lading and Emails finally called them as apparently they don’t Call and or Communicate AT ALL…The Rude Customer service rep (Sammy) told me it should be picked up tomorrow and I’ll just have to take another day off work! DO NOT USE this Company… First thing tomorrow Morning you can bet I’m calling (Sammy’s) Supervisor, That Rude girl SHOULD NOT be allowed to speak to anyone the way she did me let alone have a job there!!!!"

"Use a different shipping company! ~ Obviously timely shipping, unloading, and delivery isn't one of their strong points. 10 days to receive my freight to Portland... Now they tell me 2-3 weeks minimum for my items to be unloaded from their truck before they are available for delivery. So basically, my product is being held hostage in their truck on their property 7 miles from my shop until they decide to unload it. Thanks Estes! **UPDATE** After the truck was unloaded it was discovered that my shipment was lost somewhere in Illinois... No one knows where my shipment is and my supplier is out of inventory. No apologies, no recourse, simply sit and wait and maybe one day it will arrive!!! Totally unacceptable! 2nd update...8/20 - Finally arrived. Package was completely destroyed and product unusable."
