"Came in for a appointment that was made days ago. And confirmed by text yesterday. 9:45 drove from Seattle. I get there, another person same service not scheduled. But since it was a students wife. They take her back. And tell me they'll try to find someone, bit it's no one else there that can do lashes. Hold on they'll figure it out. Not to mention waited 5 minutes before someone came in said anything to me. I started to wait. Customer service should be taught also."
"bjs beauty an barber college is super unprofessional an is super under ran that they run through instructors an secondly there’s barely a barber instructor it’s literally one barber instructor every other week and you don’t learn anything at all an if you got fasa you can kiss that goodbye they take your money and use it to keep up wit the building if your a person trying to get go to school don’t go to this one at all"
"WORST SCHOOL EVER! for starters it’s disgusting, my first week i found MICE poop all in our FACIAL ROOM. and was told to clean it up and that it would be handled. A few weeks later we saw mice running through the back classroom. The school has no supplies and since the estheticians rarely have clients we had to purchase our own supplies to be able to practice on ourselves or eachother. We also used supplies on clients that were NO GOOD. for a good month we were using foot masks for facials on the face (we were unaware), and also cuticle oil for facial massages! the instructor for the estheticians is a LIAR. the head of the school Veronica is a LIAR. and they are all just after your money. I had to use so much of my own money on top of what the school received from me just to teach myself the basics of esthetics. my teacher provided false information, manipulated situations, and also retaliated against us if she was unhappy. Veronica flat out lies about our checks and where they’re going, when we can get them and everything else. I didnt get my kit (supplies) until i was In my 5th month of school even though we were told after 4 weeks we would receive them. if you’re looking for a beauty school go somewhere else because this place is absolutely trash and deserves to be shutdown. They treat the students so bad and im so sad i was robbed of a good experience"
"This school teaches you the very basics! In A 6 week course! You literally learn some services in A days even hourly time and they think you should know it by then moving on to the next course, you leave basica unsure of yourself with three haircutting techniques taught to you, and they expect you to be able to cut anyones hair style using those three cuts, what about people that want more then layers and an even cut?well idk cuss they sure didnt cheap you anything about that. They literally put you on the floor like you should know exactly what you're doing, the instructors would rather do the client's service for you, when needing help rather then explain step by step exactly what it is there doing, I've had An instructor tell me once when asking the technique there using to get the results they were achieving on A clients haircut say "it takes years of practice"...this place will not set you up with the confidence needed in order to move onto A career. They teach you the basic stuff to pass the state boards in the quickest way possible, They also get very little clients! At least the Tacoma bjs, maybe thats why they don't care to teach you much because they rarely get people coming in and if your A cosmetologist good luck getting A male client and learning anything about barber cutting, I would not waste my money attending this school, you spend most days working on A mannequin and if you ask an instructor to show you something new, they act bothered and quickly run off to attend to students in need of help with clients. This school was one of the worst mistakes of my life and these client's never tip, ever, you'll do an amazing color or service just to barely get A ty. Find A school that cares about your career goals, one that wants you to be A MASTER hairstylist, instead of a school trying to get as many people in as quick as possible so they can get paid! Theres a reason alot of people that went to this school aren't doing hair anymore, or quit the school before finishing, this place just needs to work on alot of improvements."
"My daughter got her favorite pixie cut today by a couple of great and funny gals. After getting home she wishes it was shorter. She really enjoyed chatting with y'all. We miss having BJ's beauty school in Auburn but we are happy with our experience here."
