Delta Air Lines - Portland

"Better PDX than ATL...My 2 cents..the Sky club overlooks the concourse and the atmosphere I truly enjoyed. The Delta Staff in Portland were tip notch helpful, courteous and kind and PATIENT !!!. LOVED PDX..THANK YOU DELTA !!"

"Flying has gotten more and more inhumane, but not with Delta. With 24 hours notice they will accommodate dietary restrictions. On our long flight there was a ton of service provided— drinks almost hourly (water AND juice) two snacks, a meal and eye mask and headphones. Very nice staff."

"On a first class flight from Vermont to Oregon, my sturdy, hard-shell luggage was so severely smashed that one corner was completely inverted and the wheels on the other side were broken off. My toiletries box inside had smashed open due to the force of the smashed corner and several hundred dollars worth of products were smashed and spilled all over my clothes. I waited almost an hour for my luggage to come out, and when it did and I discovered my broken, leaking suitcase, a friendly Delta agent helped me open a claim and assured me that I would be compensated for the broken items inside if I had receipts, which I did. Delta sent a replacement suitcase, and I submitted receipts of the broken items, which I had shown to the agent. Almost a month later, Delta determined that they are not at fault for damaged contents because they "have no control how fragile items are packed" — completely disregarding the fact that my suitcase was smashed to smithereens and my items would never have broken otherwise. This is not fair in any way and I'm not planning to fly with Delta again."

"Delta, on short flights (Seattle to Portland), if you have time to serve 1st class, you can at least give the other paying customers a small bottled water. Most airlines do at least that. The lack of decency to even offer water solidified my decision to never travel on your airlines again."
