"First, they went to the wrong pickup point. Mistakes happen, I get it. But this resulted in: 1. The majority of our guests deciding to drive themselves out of fear of missing the wedding. This means many of our guests were not able to drink. Huge bummer as this impacted the vibe of the evening and our wallets for the money we spent on an open bar. 2. The guests that chose to wait arrived at the venue 30 min late pushing our wedding timeline back. 30 min may not seem like a big deal but when you hire people by the hour (photographer, videographer) this resulted in them missing some key events later in the evening. 3. The Bus was suppose to pickup myself and the bridesmaids, but because we were running so far behind, my wedding planner had my DJ come pick us up in his mini van. So I arrived to my wedding in my DJs mini van… 4. The guests that did decide to ride the shuttle said the bus driver announced on the way to the venue “I don’t feel safe driving this bus up here at night. I’m not confident I can make it down”. As a result guests decided to find other modes of transportation home. 5. Because the bus driver didn’t feel safe, he asked my wedding planner to do one trip back to town. So my wedding ended 1 earlier than expected to accommodate his request. 6. The 10 guests that actually chose to stick around for the bus ride home, got into an accident on the way down. It was minor, he hit a tree, and nobody was hurt, but still…. 7. At the end of the day I paid thousands of dollars on Blue Star so my guests could have a relaxing evening and not worry about transportation. The opposite held true. And the thing that frustrates me the most is they refuse to take responsibility for their actions. Do not hire Blue Star, they may be a little less than their competitors but not worth the stress on your special day or safety of your guests."

"We used 3 buses from Blue Star for my daughter’s wedding. Not only was Jordan Elliot so wonderful, friendly and professional to correspond with, all 3 buses were exactly on time to the wedding coming from 3 different locations. I’d hire them all over again!!"

"I worked with Blue Star for an executive offsite. I carefully selected, contracted and paid for a bus that was relevant for our group. Blue star changed the bus on me day of - sending a 56 passenger bus for our group of 10 people. When I tried to reason that this was not in line with our contract, both the representative and the subsequent manager I spoke with repeatedly said, "stop complaining, we're giving you an upgrade." It wasn't an upgrade for our group, and I have rarely seen as poor of customer service. They said they routinely do this to customers. All I can do is write this review for others to see, and even so they said they will challenge the review. I would not recommend working with this company."

"Our office has been working with Blue Star for many years to provide transportation for groups of visitors to Portland. Their office support is incredibly helpful and understanding when making bookings or even when conflicts arise and have saved us in several difficult situations on our end. Buses are always clean and well serviced, and comfortable with good storage space. Drivers are very helpful in loading & unloading (when needed) , and offer a fun and pleasant experience. Often they can provide interesting information about where we are going, and at the least are always happy to chat about directions or what is going on. The friendly driver experience is truly a highlight of working with this company. We can't recommend Blue Star enough, and look forward to continuing to work with them as a serious and professional partner."
