"Place is huge and plenty of walking and biking space! We went fishing and got ourselves a little honey hole and didn't have to walk far! Fun place to enjoy the entire day!"

"We asked when we got there if there was anything free to do. They said no. I decided to check it out myself. There was a five mile drive through the island. Every so often there are boards to read and you can get out of the car to explore. Luckily, I packed snacks and drinks. We drove through at our leisure with the air conditioner blasting. There were also a few beach areas to enjoy. Pack a lunch, beach chair, umbrella and a float."

"Archers hope historical point. Has a grassy area you can sit on. Not a big beach but lots of room to swim. Nice place to park and enjoy the beautiful scenery overlooking James River."

"We visit the parkway frequently, the commute from Jamestown to Yorktown is a nice leisurely one with many historical markers along the way. Visit the Jamestown visitor center while in the area its worth the trip all in itself, wildlife is abundant so keep a sharp eye out for them."
