"Surprisingly beautiful park. Really enjoyed the tri state trail and monument. The cumberland gap overlook sits atop the gap and overlooks the town. There is a little coffee shop that sits along the creek. It was a great place to get a small bite, coffee and soak in the views before hitting the trails."
"Really wish the National Parks would step up their website. Not this individual parks fault but it can be hard to find all the information. The tri state point does require a 2 mile hike and we weren’t prepared for this. Clothing or time wise. So we were disappointed as we went out of our way to visit the tri-state point. The overlook however did not disappoint. This area is full of so much history!! It is a must see!"
"Beautiful experience, good hiking trails, a lot to see and hear. Beautiful sights and a very well maintained road and parking for cars. Trails could be difficult for little kids (-5 years) and elders. Nice historic places."
"What a great hike through history. Amazing to be standing in a place where three states come together. Nice short hike up the hill. Well worth the time. Definitely Recommend Visiting"
"A very maintenance trail. It is a moderate hike in some spots. Stopped at the Gap Cave entrances. You can not enter them because they are blocked with heavy-duty steel bars/rails. It's probably best for safety . Continued on to the Tri-State geographic marker. You have a view of Middlesboro KY but only trees, etc, for VA and TN. Very nice parking and visitor buildings with very clean restrooms. Historical depictions and signage explain the exploration and expansion of the CumberlNd Gap."
