Veterans Memorial

"Came to downtown Charleston WV to visit this beautiful monument to all the men and women who served in the military during conflicts since WW 1. Very beautifully constructed, and you can't help getting a little emotional reading the names of the fallen."

"This is a very nice memorial/monument to those West Virginians who gave all to protect humanity and our country. All the major wars of the 20th and 21st centuries are represented, with the big four (WWI/II, Korea/Vietnam) memorialised with statutory but all conflicts have the names of those who died in service. Located right on the Capitol Grounds, it can be stopped by and respects paid while one visits the grounds. Lest we forget. Cheers."
