Circle B Stables

"For my mother’s 83rd birthday (which is tomorrow), she wanted to ride a horse. She has not been on a horse since she was 20. Circle B stables in Kanawha State Forest allowed her this opportunity. Thank you to Koty Napier for your kindness."

"Friendly staff, very down-to-earth. The trail itself is pretty simple and beginner friendly, walk only. The loop takes about 30 minutes to ride after they teach the basics of riding, but since I already know how we were able to ride the loop twice. Apparently they’ve only recently opened, so it’s nice what they have going so far and excited to see what they have in store for the future! Warning that you probably won’t have cell signal in the park. Route your gps way home before you arrive."

"We had a wonderful time! The staff members are friendly and knowledgeable. They accommodated my three children (ages 11, 8, and 3), myself, and my MIL in a single ride. We really enjoyed riding on the forest trail and enjoying the camaraderie with the horses. The staff really know the horses’ temperaments and made sure each of us had the right one for the adventure. My kids are ready to go again soon! It’s great to see the owners take over the old stable and fix it up. It was an absolute joy."

"We went out to the stables and had a great time ! I love how knowledgeable the staff is in their field. You can tell they really care for their horses and love to do what they do . The location is super easy to find! The trail is beautiful, I only wish I could ride longer . You definitely get a good value for what you are paying, I could just be there all day long !"

"Had a great time at circle B stables!!! Staff is amazing they did a great job at getting everyone on the horses made sure everyone was okay and gave everyone lessons and made sure we where all comfortable before taking off the kids had a great time they played corn hole and horse shoe they even got to ride a pony!!!! They have multiple beautiful horses all very well taken care of they constantly made sure the horses had water and food constantly they walked us through the barn and let us see every single horse!! And let us and the kids pet them and feed them goodies but other then that on the trail ride the horses did very well no problems we had a leader and a follower and both made sure everyone was okay so vacation to the Kanawha state forest was a success!!!! Everyone had a great time and am definitely planning on going back even the kids are saying they want to go back!! Definitely something everyone should look into it it won’t disappoint I promised!!"
