"YOUTUBE KARAOKE BAR You are just renting a room with some couches, a slightly obnoxious (but kind of fun) disco light, and a tv so you can cast YouTube karaoke videos. This is illegal as they aren’t properly licensing the music (which would be better as some YouTube videos leave the backing vocals in) They only let you use one phone too and won’t give you the password (they enter it in for you). I could get the same thing by connecting my phone to my home TV. Even without the microphones and sound system (which was actually very good besides some of the vocal tuning they add) it would be better. At least then you aren’t hearing TONS of noise from the other rooms when your music isn’t going. Don’t get me wrong, it was a fun night. But that’s mainly because of the group of friends I was with. If you are looking for karaoke on a budget, there are better ones around that do it right."
