Reviews of San Juan Historical Museum
"Great history of San Juan Island. Excellent exhibits in the barn, with more planned!"
"I went to this museum with my kids (ages 10, 12, 15) and we all loved it! There was SO much to see, we enjoyed every exhibit & building. You must come see for yourself. This is a true gem that shouldn’t be missed, and it is walkable from downtown FH. We also loved the very friendly and knowledgeable staff of volunteers."
"This is a little gem parked away! Small collection of interesting buildings, many explainer boards and many neat photos. Very nice staff. They stayed a few minutes past closing for us just so we could explore the grounds without feeling rushed. Interesting that some of the older buildings have been moved/saved, lot of history. The main museum building is the best with recreation scenes."
"Nothing great from a scale perspective. The artiracts go back a few hundred years. But the way the little that is there has been preserved is commendable. The museum closes by 1400 so you may want to prioritise your visit if you are keen. You do not miss much even if you skip it. However a lot of exhibit are in the open so you could still loiter."
"A hidden gem of museum, history, and information. Great park setting. A must see on San Juan Island! , When they are open, it is amazing. After 33 years, I finally saw it when it was open :-) WOW"
