Bryn Athyn Cathedral

"My only complaint is the cop was relentless about making us leave when we were there at sunset. Sunset includes the after effects of color. And it’s beautiful to see there."

"Beautiful architecture. Great place to walk around a view. There are so many intricate details. On every door and every spire. It's fun to see the doors where the handles on the left side are worn down more and shiner than the right door counterparts. The gardens are meticulously maintained. The historical surrounding buildings are fun to see also. Words can not do it justice."

"Lived in Huntingdon Valley, just down the road from here, and visited this amazing cathedral and the grounds often. I catered events at the other beautiful estate seen in my photo, through the pillars. Christmas Mass at this cathedral is welcoming, warm and beautiful. Highly recommend visiting if you're in the area. It's a true gem. Thanks for all the wonderful memories. My mom and I enjoyed visiting often and she loved it here. "

"Enjoyed strolling the Cathedral grounds when we visited the adjacent Glencairn Museum. Both are part of the historic Bryn Athyn district. The grounds were full of spring plantings and very well tended. We didn't see a weed or piece of trash anywhere on the grounds. There is a stone lookout in back to enjoy the rolling green hills in the vista. The Cathedral offers tours by reservation. We took outdoor photos and did not see any unfriendly security guard mentioned in other reviews."
