"If you have the time to stop and explore Quinault, you are in for a real treat when you get to this national forest building on the days it's open to talk to Ranger Matt for any and absolutely all information you'll need about this area. He was so informative and helpful..you can really tell when some people are passionate about their work. Perfect first stop when I was arriving to the ONP . Get your intel, maps, water, bathroom breaks.. And there's a cute little shop I was able to buy a cool hat"
"The ranger helped me plan out my hike for the day. Thank you, the forest is amazing"
"only opened thurs, fri, sat from 8am - 3pm. but if you happen to be there during their open hours, talk with Ranger Matt! he has a wealth of knowledge and we so appreciate the time he took to help us ensure we didn’t miss some amazing spots!"
"This station wasn't opened when I arrived despite Google showing them opened. COVID hours are different so call ahead. Reception here is scarce so plan ahead. The parking area does provide great access to the lake and trailhead for a shorter walk. The National Park passport stamp is located in the other office across the lake."
"This station was not open when I arrived (weekday, late March 2021) but looks like a great information hub for the outdoor enthusiast. Plenty of parking behind the building, off the road, just next to the lodge. Quinault is a beautiful area, well off the beaten path and worth a visit! Olympic Otter"
