"Superb and historical museum all about Skagit County. Artifacts and rare photographs of mining operations. Of particular intetest is the store front from a store in Anacortes which was removed and reconstructed using the sane wood and nails as the original."
"Awesome history of the local area and cool old stuff! Super friendly staff! Loved it."
"Absolutely STUNNING little museum!! GO !! Very well organized and FULL of artifacts from over a century... typewriters, logging equipment, dish/clothing-washers, phonograph, 1890's maps and documents and a Taylor motorcycle and antique vehicles and more !! Quite hard to find..."
"This was such a cool little local museum! Had so much cool history to learn in such a small building, and you could spend a long time seeing all they had to offer! I would absolutely go again and I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone visiting this area. Plus, the employee named Janice was AMAZING! She made our experience so much more memorable in every single way. Such a sweet lady. She learned our names and every time she popped over to tell us a little history fact she would call each of us by our names. I was extremely impressed by her service. Both inside and outside the museum (she recognized someone from our group and offered them a ride back to their bed and breakfast that was out of the way for her)."
"Stunning, heartwarming, colorful exhibit resonating love of family and country. The moment I saw this local artist's exhibit in the Skagit Herald I knew I was planning a "date day" with my husband. I found these paintings so exciting and familiar to Hawaiian artist Yvonne Cheng, yet Mr. Guillen's art is bursting with warmth and color even Ms. Cheng at times struggles to capture. These paintings brought back loads of great memories of the Merida community and the people at the hacienda of Santa Rosa. His family must be so proud and I'm grateful for the folks who allowed their Jesus Guillen art to be shared at the museum. Fantastically displayed!! Mahalo!"
