"Absolutely top notch customer service!! The gentleman who answered the phone deserves several raises! Hes funny, engaging and just an all around great face for the business. The room was clean and cozy. Hot tub on the deck. Woke up to birds and saw hawks and eagles flying around. NOT a bad way to wake up."
"Great property! Super clean, great smokehouse restaurant, and perfectly located for Deer Harbor! It's not too far to the ferry, farms, and hiking trails. No early check in, but pretty views and easy parking."
"Reviewing the restaurant here. It was a bit difficult to go there, but once you reach there you'll not be disappointed! Excellent view where you can see water and boats. Candles on the table when it gets darker. Blankets are ready for you should you need them. In addition food was great and we were greeted by Carlyn who were very happy to answer my curious questions about the island! As we leave, lots of deer were wandering around to add to the charm! Just be careful if you drive at night - well, and in the morning too :)"
"We had a comfortable room in the lodge. Good bed, modern, well-maintained and sparkling clean bathroom. Nice breakfast of cereal and English muffins in the basket, coffee and a coffee maker, and milk in the fridge. Sat on the upper balcony with some other guests for happy hour and enjoyed the sunshine and the view. Spectacular! Enjoyed dinner in the restaurant. The soup was a delicious variation on split pea, and the Sunday chicken dinner special was outstanding. I'd give the wait staff, Emily and Ryan six stars if I could! Very nice friendly service."
"I booked this vacation through Living Social. I have booked many trips with them in the past and have always researched the trips before purchasing them. Even though this was not 50% or less I felt it was worth it. I requested a first story room because my finance was physically handicapped and needed a cane to limp alone with a herniated disk. In spite of this request I got a second story room. When we checked in no one was there to greet us or help us with our belongings upstairs. There was no one to complain about being upstairs and no elevators or handicap ramps. I had to haul every up 2 flights of stairs myself including a very heavy back device that he uses for therapy. There was no extra toilet paper or spare towels and was an oven in the room. Plus there was no cell phone service or phone in the room to contact the front desk or anyone. I went to the public phone downstairs which had terrible reception and had to leave a voice mail. I will never stay here again and would not recommend this to anyone. I also had to stay here during the week which cost me 3 days of my hard earned vacation time from work."
