"Counselors call family members back when the staff are pressed for time and rushed instead of when the staff has adequate time to speak with family members. The result is counselors are impatient, unhelpful and stressed out when calling customers with less than five minutes to speak with customers then cemetery counselors get upset when asked to call customer again when the cemetery counselors have time (15 minutes) to speak with family members. The counselors at this cemetery in February 2024 spend more time saying what they won’t do and making customers feel they’re annoying cemetery counselors by needing time to talk about the burial and/or interment of the customer’s loved one. We cannot recommend this cemetery due to the impatient, unhelpful and stressed out cemetery counselors working at Allegheny Cemetery in February 2024."

"This cemetery is a celebration of life! I go running here in the evenings and there are so many paths and trails and interesting things to see. People bike, run, walk, and learn to drive here. There is tons of activity at any time of day. There are entire sections of the park where you can't see anything but rolling hills and trees all around you. It's hard to believe it's in the middle of the city."

"Very nicely maintained historic cemetery. Interesting architecture and grounds, plus amazing amount of deer, ducks and geese for such an urban setting. Great place to explore and walk around. Several entrances with amazing gates and grand entrances. An early who's who of Pittsburgh. Highly recommended."
