"This place is just really cool and makes for a great photography location. Also conveniently close to the waterfront, downtown, the interstate, Portland, and Washington highway 14."
"Fort Vancouver is an amazing place for so many reasons. Acres to walk, jog, bike, play Pokémon with the family. There's even event coordinators for Pokémon community days who give out prizes. Beautiful sunsets and a great place to bring your pets. Fort Vancouver is a historical site that provides and inside look at the life and time of the soldiers that were once stationed there. Just outside the fort door's there is a flower and vegetable garden tended by fort employees. If you haven't been to Fort Vancouver you're missing out."
"It is a large and informative place. They have a beautiful garden area. The kitchen, blacksmith shop, and carpenter shop have people interacting with guests and actually performing the tasks they would have done when the fort was running. Would recommend visiting, be careful on the guard tower steps though."
"Super informative and amazing. An old fort that pays attention to the idea of history. Found unexpected items like the bathroom tiles in the visitor center and lots of nature and roaming. We are already planning a trip for the summer. The kitchen was open and the blacksmith answered all the eager questions. The ranger was amazing. He encouraged us to explore and ask questions."
"Great stop with those with kids. Lots of room to run and enjoy the outdoors. The front is great for parents and kids to learn history of the 1800 fur trade. Staff was great and knowledgeable. Air museum was closed saddly. Wife loved the garden so if wanting to see this, plan on time of year accordingly."
