"I am extreamly grateful to have found them. Caitlin returned my call the same day. Within a few hours to get me scheduled. She helped to match me up with my therapist who is so patient and really listened. Colleen has help answer and guide me thorugh understanding insurance. Getting to use my insurance was a happy bonus. What a weight that has been lifted. I had called so many places, and really felt like I was never going to find a place. Great customer service. Kind people. The office is clean and nice. Everyone is just so friendly. Grateful."
"My experience with my therapist was amazing. She has helped me so much, but that is the only reason to give Mindscape any stars. Their billing practices are horrible. Their standard practice is to charge your bank account without any notice or statement of what you will be charged or when. When I tried to discuss this, the person on the phone kept talking over me and would not listen to anything I said. She insisted that's the way they do things and it isn't going to change. So, they apparently think this is an ok way of running a business. It's very sad because my therapist was great."
"Edit: In response to the owner - you have quite a few one star reviews regarding very specific issues with your business practices. I'm not sure it's productive to publicly respond to these using an infantilizing tone while refusing to consider the feedback you're receiving. Speaking to your assumption about my care, I have not stopped going to therapy. I am just no longer willing to deal with your practice when there are so many great options available. Thanks The therapist was great. Business office? Not so much. Left a clear voicemail saying that IF I wouldn’t be billed for canceling late I’d like to cancel, otherwise I’d like to keep my appointment. This is because I’ve met my deductible and don’t want to pay any more healthcare costs this year - I’d rather just sit through an appointment I don’t want. I know they have a late cancellation fee, however sometimes businesses will allow one instance of this, especially if you’ve had 10+ appointments, because life happens. Well, no one called me back to communicate, they just cancelled my appointment and - I later found out - charged me the late cancellation fee anyway. I called to discuss this. Was read the transcript of my vm with my very clear request and told that they hadn’t heard the details about being charged at the time (?), apparently they only listened to the “cancel” part. Seemed unfair to me so I asked they return my money that I had not consented to them taking. Didn’t hear back later that day. Didn’t hear back after 24 hours, either. Still haven’t heard a peep. Eventually I sent an email and left a voicemail to express that I’d like to discontinue services here as I don’t feel comfortable with them after this experience, to please cancel all future appointments and to not charge anything else to my card. I hope they respect this and are able to get the message if it’s in writing and in a voicemail - and now the request is here as well. You should know that even though they have a fully functioning website to conduct their video therapy and to upload required documents, there is no option to change or cancel appointments online. I speculate that this is because it would be easy and make sense, so they’d lose out on the cancellation fees. I also did not have an email (besides the generic info one you can find on their website) or a number to text and request a cancellation. The only way to cancel is to call the main office and leave a voicemail - hopefully it will be heard in its entirety. This was my experience doing just that. Advise looking elsewhere for care."
"My therapist understood me listened to how I was feeling and I have gained a lot of insight. The office staff was always quick to communicate with me whether it was to answer billing questions or making schedule changes. I had called other therapy offices and noone even returned my call Mindscape returned my call quickly and took my insurance."
"I loved working with Lindsey, but this practice saw fit to terminate her contract without cause. Now I am in the situation to find a new therapist, and their solution is to work with another at their practice, but I don’t trust them not to fire another practitioner without cause. I do not recommend seeing physicians and therapist at this practice for that reason."
