"They have an elaborate seawater circulation system, and all their tank water is directly drawn from and returned to the harbor. Admission includes complementary fish feed. Extremely friendly staff."
"this is the best aquarium I've ever been to!! It's a must to stop by. the small aquarium shows the local fish and other animals. They're clearly well taken cared for and loved because once you step up to the glass, they swim right up and observe you or try to play with you. you can also feed them shrimp! the admission is affordable, $10 for adults, $6 for students. My friends had forgotten their student ID's but the employees believed us. my favorite was how friendly and enthusiastic the employees are. it was a very casual and light environment with the staff making jokes with us as soon as we walked in. Alecks was a great tour guide and he was very knowledgeable. A little cute preteen boy was also helping us around and he was just as knowledgeable and very passionate about the aquarium! he was very excited to show me some baby sea anemone. it's very warming to see a young child being passionate about sealife. something I noticed is that the staff really care about the animals. they've named each one, know each ones history, and know each animal's specific behavior and quirks. I'm really glad my friends and I saw the aquarium sign and decided to stop by. this might have been one of my most memorable experiences on our trip and I definetly want to stop by next time!!"
"We've been here 2 years in a row and really have a good time with the little one. They've got a platform for shorter children to stand on so they can get right up to the tank to feed the fish. It's a lot of fun to watch. Alex, the guide, has a ton of aquarium knowledge. We've seen him this year and last. This year, he helped us spot skeleton shrimp. There are some crafts for kids to do at the front as well. The staff is friendly and we hope to visit again soon."
"The admission is very high and it is a very small room. $7 for adult and $5 for kids. I was astonished and flabbergasted by how dirty the tanks were- and I’m not just talking about the murky water. Very inch of the tanks are covered in scum. There is a ton of excess food (shrimp) just littering the tanks. The staff give you cups of shrimp and encourage you to just dump them at random into tanks and to get refills. Instead of carefully controlling their feedings. There is water on the floors and the floors have no traction. The front area is very crowded and the rest of the aquarium is dim."
