"I would not recommend these apartments to anyone. Where to start? 1. Office hours were never adhered to, so now you have to call to set up an appt to even walk into the office. 2. You have to contact them multiple times to get something fixed. Whether thru the portal or by phone. I put an order in for my toilet to be fixed and here we are a week later, and I haven’t even been contacted me to let me know anything. So the past week and now I have to go through this weekend with sewage in the toilet. As well as a broken dryer in which this would be the third time they’re fixing it, if they ever respond to the work order. 3. There’s trash everywhere. 4. Basic human decency is out the window. Our neighbor stove caught fire one night, the next day they contacted the office to let them know and their first response was “your responsible for payment because it’s your fault” not even “are you guys ok?” 5. Shootings and loud cars driving thru on a nightly basis almost. I will say that I didn’t notice there is 1 maintenance man, who seems to go above and beyond when fixing things. He does his due diligence to make sure things are working, and when I ran into him out in the complex he double checked with me to make sure things were smooth. He is the one and only employee with these apartments that actually seems like they want to help you. Other than that good luck."
"Terrible area and terrible management. You have to ask multiple times to have something to fix in your apartment because they will either forget, or just not come all together. Management is terrible. Bunch of things you have to pay for that they do not tell you before you sign your lease. Management will do the minimum required to help you with a situation, and sometimes not even that. Also, the office is rarely ever open. They will have a sign up saying that will be back at a certain time and you will literally hear them in there laughing and doing whatever past the time the sign says"
"Disgusted with the way I was lied to and stolen from by this property management /real estate company; Goodman Real Estate that runs Sienna properties. I am relocating over 200 miles and need to be on the west side before May 1st to start an amazing job opportunity on May 1st. I was made to believe that 1 single unpaid credit card - that I am actively making payments on, would not stop me from being approved. However, after paying my last $50 I had in funding outside of my rental/move-in/transportation funds, AND NO WAY to make more money prior to the move and starting work over there, I was told by Rebecca, the one who told me I would have no problem getting accepted, that I was in fact rejected based off of this ONE factor. I will lose all custody of my 4 year old, and this amazing job opportunity towards my long term career if I don't get over there before May 1st, and my daughter can thank this company for lying to me and stealing my money knowing full well that I wouldn't be approved since they do this for a living. awful business strategies."
"Can't recommend this place. We've been living here over 2yrs now only because we can't afford to move. I have a ritual of measuring every square inch of every place we've lived in since I graduated from the Interior Design program at Clover Park Tech. and then mapping everything in my CAD program so I can figure out where our furniture will fit best. Well, I knew from the beginning that the square footage they advertised was off but I figured they must've rounded up to the nearest 10. So not true! After mapping the walls, I did the command that automatically figures the square footage. Even including the balcony and exterior storage, the actual square footage for the 2 bed, 2 bath is only 968.7561sq. ft. it’s advertized at 1050sq. ft. If you add the appliances, cabinets, water heater, toilets, tubs, the brick surround for the fireplace, and shelves to the mix and only include floor space where your feet can actually go, that takes you down to 767.6924sq. ft. This is not including the baseboard heaters which should require a 6" clearance to negate fire hazards. Our current monthly payment for this apartment hovers just over $1600 most of the time. The customer service in the leasing office is good most of the time but they don’t have enough maintenance workers to cover all the units so even urgent issues take 3-10days to get resolved. I’ve had non-urgent matters take upwards of 5-8 months to get fixed. They have bedbug issues here as well. There’s not enough storage if you’re having to down-size as we did. The updates that have been done over the years are not great. My daughter gets water everywhere when she washes dishes and after the 2nd or 3rd time, the corner of our kitchen counter disintegrated. Literally. I put the work order in for it to get fixed as soon as I noticed it maybe 3 months after moving in and they just told me a few months ago that they could only fix it if we were to leave the apartment for several hours because of the fumes given off by the glue the vendor company uses. Which, of course, we don’t trust anyone we don’t know to be in our home unsupervised so now I have to live with the continual slow decomposition of my counter until we can finally get out of this hole. The rubber baseboards have almost all fallen off the wall. That happened the first summer we were here. The linoleum in the kitchen has a gaping hole in it that the maintenance guy said was nothing when I first reported it about a year ago. Our dryer still doesn’t work properly even after them ‘fixing’ it 6 times so 1 regular sized load of wash takes 3-8 times through depending on what kind of fabric it is. For example: towels take 8 times through while my business clothes take 3-4 times. After changing management about 6 months ago, things got a little better on the maintenance side though. So that’s good. It used to be worse. All-in-all, I wouldn’t recommend these apartments to my family or friends unless you have no other options and aren’t willing to give up your 4-legged companion for anything."
"Sienna Park Apartments is located in Parkland, south of Tacoma. It's located right off of WA-512 and Interstate 5. Upon moving from Hawaii in 2016, I was living in Seattle for a few months.. it seemed rent was just getting higher and the city over populated. When work brought me to Tacoma, I thought it made much more sense to move there. After looking at over a dozen apartments we decided upon one in Lakewood -- it was gated, had a pool, nice place we thought. However, the management sucked and took way to long to get us an application approval. Then we figured "hey, lets check out this place called Sienna Apartments.. it has horrible reviews online, but lets see for ourselves.." That evening we met with Eli, around 430pm. He showed us a unit and went into great detail about the location, recommendations, inside details on getting to UW Tacoma without having to deal with I5 morning traffic and more. He helped us fill out the application and a little after 6pm (keep in mind he finished his shift at 6) we got an approval and left .. no only relived but happy. We've been here about 2 months and are beyond satisfied. The maintenance team is great, neighbors are quiet and friendly and management is superb. Of course, we had some issues upon move in such as the disposal not working, a few loose outlets, etc., but within a week all was fixed and when a new issue occurred it was fixed right away, no questions asked. Based on my knowledge, the past reviews are from a poor manager, and now they just hired a new gal Christine (she's a sweetheart.) I have faith that Sienna Park is just getting started and is in for greatness. As long as they keep this solid staff they have I believe this will be a top resident community for Tacoma. It's a great location, very spacious units and more. I couldn't be happier! As I said.. don't judge a book by its cover.. check out Sienna Park for yourself and see what you have to say. I say it's a risk worth taking."
