"Dr. Nickel has been my OB/GYN Dr. for almost 12 years. I was very fortunate to have Dr. Adam Nickel and his Dad Dr. Gary Nickel before he retired for my prenatal care back in 2009-2010. I kept Dr. Adam Nickel as my GYN and I see him at least once a year. Every time I see him he is always exceptional. He is caring, always listens my concerns and answers all my questions; I never feel rushed. Of course he is always busy, he is the best OB/GYN of South Sound!! Thank you Dr. Nickel for everything."

I always feel heard, appointments never feel rushed, he is easy to talk to, and questions are always answered with detail. I was so comfortable in the delivery room with him and loved how he talked through all my options. I never felt pressured in the delivery room to do this or that, I truly felt like it was my delivery. When it was time to deliver, I LITERALLY couldn't have done it without him! He was extremely encouraging and positive. I also love how he got my husband involved in the delivery, it's one of our favorite memories. "First time visit was great, even though I didn't get to jump right into a treatment plan I thought I needed, for good reason... part of that treatment would not be handled through this particular practice because that is something handled by my PCP which Dr. Nickle explained and help me understand the steps to get there. My concerns were definitely met with compassion, understanding and education. The exam was quick, painless and as comfortable as these exams get. My nurse Alana was AMAZING. "Dr. Nickel totally changed my birth story with my second baby! I delivered in October this year. 3 years ago I had my first baby also in October, and I was a painful experience filled with healthcare providers treating me like what I was experiencing wasn’t real or hard. Dr. Nickel never once made me feel like my unique way of laboring was fake, over exaggerated, or something I just needed to deal with. He not only validated & addressed all my concerns, he became my advocate with the hospital to help me get to the point of being admitted. I appreciated his hands on approach, he truly does love to be there for the birth of all his patients. I also loved that his office uses tablets instead of computers so they can look at you as they enter in your chart information. I felt seen in his office and heard. His office staff are wonderful, friendly, I felt like they cared about my pregnancy. Not once did I feel like I was just another patient. At the times of my appts, I always felt like I was a priority."
