"I went to apply for the apartment and from the moment that I started speaking with the active landlord she was too busy speaking about the costs and requirements that it took to get in the apartment. It was done in a way that it made me feel like because I was a black male that these emphasis was implied. I definitely left there feeling like race was an issue with this lady. Last but not least I was denied the apartment because of a debt I owed but paid on an apartment that I rented over 18 years ago that showed up in public records. Since that time I have lived in at least 6 other apartment complexes that this never prevented me from never getting an apartment. I'm currently a State employee, Navy Veteran and full time student getting ready to pursue my PhD and I am still subjected to racial discrimination getting approved for apartments that are not in the best conditions based on my race. Someone please help me understand how this works. I would feel better if a No blacks allowed sign was placed at the entrance of this complex."

"The worst apartment you can ever live in. Horrible inside, with rust on kitchen and bathroom fans, and worst when it comes to returning your apartment deposit, will lie with a list of written lies and get away with your deposit. From real experience as a tenant. Can’t recommend anyone !!"

"Raised my rent in the middle of the lease. I'm not sure if that's even legal... The apartments aren't great to begin with, definitely not worth anymore than I'm already paying."
