"The receptionist is rude and beyond impolite. I have to have ultrasounds done due to complications. And my 5yr old son accompanies me to all my appointments. This morning I came to my appointment 9/13 at 930am was even 15 min early while she sat there on hold with support due to her computer issues. When I tried checking in (36weeks) she told me my son is not allowed in the room. I said well he has come to all my appointments. And now it’s an issue. Apparently a child isn’t allowed with you during an ultrasound I was told it’s legacies policy but yet through the whole 36 weeks of this pregnancy it was never enforced?"

"5 stars for excellent care with the exception of the 1-star rude brunette who needs her attitude checked working behind the front desk. She usually sits in the left seat while I’m checking in. Twice she has been absolutely unprofessional over the phone and in person. The first time I spoke to her in person I asked, “Are there medical students practicing here?” To which she replied in the most condescending and belittling tone, “What do you mean are there medical students practicing here?”… This was my first time at this hospital and I was about to undergo an amniocentesis; it was a simple question, and I only asked if there were students. I didn’t know it wasn’t a teaching hospital, so I repeated myself to which she answered in such a rude tone.. I was stunned! Our Second encounter was when I was walking to my 8:30AM appointment from the hospital parking lot and noticed in my messages an 8AM appt reminder. It was 8:07AM and she tried to cancel my appointment over the phone (knowing I was in the hospital running down the stairs next to the sky bridge), and then didn’t say a single word to me when I checked in. She’s extremely unprofessional and considerably too comfortable. Given the circumstances some women are checking in for, she needs to address her customer service skills or should find a different industry."
