"I don't even know how to put into words how amazing the food is here. This is by far the best gyro in Portland – probably in the entire Northwest. It's exploding with flavor, insanely delicious, and the portion size is excellent – they do not skimp. The price is VERY reasonable and the service is excellent and very friendly as well. The recent revamp into Midtown Beer Garden also turned this into a wonderful, cozy place to enjoy your food. Cannot recommend more highly."

"I can't say I've ever had a gyro that was awful until this place. The beef gyro had chunks of pure fat or something. Teeth would bounce off of it. So juicy couldn't even hold it, not the good way. Needs improvement"

"My date at the time felt rather uncomfortable and it is due to the downgrading nature of downtown Portland and the many houseless people. The food was good but it's pointless coming down to Portland and feeling harassed. After we had finished our meal a lady asked for our leftovers and was yelling at me to grab the food from the trash. I felt bad about that. But again the food was good but you kind of have to be prepared to be asked for change, cigarettes etc while waiting there."
