Have not dealt specifically with the HOA, but the 3 months of my stay there were VERY pleasant, grounds & facilities were very well maintained & there were never any problems with noise or shady people etc. This is (in my humble opinion) a direct result of the HOA rules, regs & standards...therefore my review"

"Very nice property but managed by a dishonest group. I arrived here in the area to a warm welcome from the community in November of 2018. I was going to be in the area supporting the local refinery for a period of 6-7 months. When I originally went to the property management group to discuss extended rental of one of their furnished units, the quoted me $1,350 per month. A good fair price for a 2 bedroom apartment in the area during the off-season. The manager Lisa informed me that the rate may slightly increase by “$100 per week or so in May”. They had 13 units available, all two bedroom, fully furnished with all the needed essentials. I secured the place and told them that I would send my co-workers and bosses to rent the remains units over the coming months if they were available. As soon as she figured out that we were working at the refinery, she started gouging the prices. The most recent was my two supervisors who let other properties go based on what she had agreed to. The first person I sent, got the same condo that I did, she was charged $2000, the next supervisor was charged $3,700 and the most recent was charged $2,400 for a single bedroom small place with no washer and dryer and no WiFi, but she “could have found him if he would have been willing to pay $3k per month”. Wow. Great way to be welcomed to Jacobs Landing and Birch Bay! Thanks for being dishonest and for the “off-season” rip off. We will spread the word for next year though!!"
