"Great place"
"I called to obtain enrollment information and costs. The man who answered my call told me it would cost $2800/month to enroll my 2 year old son for 5 days a week. When I said that’s more than I earn and that price would have me living out of my car he said at least my son would be in daycare. Pretty heartless joke for a struggling single parent during a pandemic. It’s a shame this place employs people who lack empathy and comprehension skills who are blind to how covid-19 has devastated members of their community. So many of us have been furloughed and forced to find lower paying jobs to work from home. It eats away at your dignity when you’re making less money but still try your best to be a super hero all day to your child while trying to remain professional so bills can be paid. Very discouraging feeling to start my search this way as I try to give my son the interactions he deserves and a glimpse of normalcy again. I’m just crushed."
"I have been so impressed by the COVID safety protocols put in place by Bright Horizons. They are well organized and have excellent communication with families. They are somehow able to adapt to the changing state guidance while maintaining high quality early education. My daughter's teachers have customized the photos within each section of the family communication app so that we see pictures of her in each activity. As a two year old, her response to the question "What did you do today?" is usually the same but when we use the photos from the app paired with the questions, it really expands the conversation. She loves her friends and teachers and feels genuinely cared for. I can tell that SEL is a focus in her classroom as she brings those skills home, giving herself pep talks to try challenging activities ("the blocks fell, I will try it again") and asking her little sister if she wants a hug when she starts crying. We love BH!"
"This is a great daycare with outstanding caregivers and Covid-19 protocols. Each age group has their own pod with individual pod access to their outside playground. They have done a great job of communicating during these difficult times. I love their "My Bright Day" report which is individualized for each child and has photos to keep parents and grandparents in touch. They are teaching the children some very important things and the children seem to be very happy there!"
"We are wrapping up our time in Infant Three at this facility and we had the most amazing experience. Our baby started at five months and I had total peace of mind the entire time. He loved his teachers Mulkher and Amanda and they set up awesome activities for the little ones to start exploring the world. I can't say enough great things about this place for a little baby. We are excited to see how he does in the Toddler program."
