"What a great place. It is very accommodating for people to enter and grab drinks prior to opening theater. Staff was very helpful. Acoustically sounded great. Can't wait to go back. A piece of history right at Pike Street Market. We will be going back to watch another show."
"Love the Showbox it's such a great venue in Seattle. It's not too big and if you plan it right you can park right next door. For me the $25 was worth it. The city and the state take another $10 for taxes, but still $35 to park right next to the venue, it's well worth a night out. Tickets weren't too expensive originally priced it I think $35. I managed to get resale tickets as I bought too late and they were $95. If you plan on buying drinks there are going to be expensive. Still overall a good time and it was a great show! The group playing, Highly Suspect. Hello My Name Is Human."
"This place opened in 1939, and it's still thriving. Beautiful interior, sound carries well from the stage to the very back of the venue. Staff was really friendly, except for one Security dude who felt the need to keep pushing me around."
"The great acoustics and the EXTREMELY intimate venue, which is IMO the BEST POSSIBLE way to experience a show, makes The Showbox a favorite! I saw David Kushner on 10-1-23, and it was his last night of the tour. it was spectacular! I'm disabled and was treated so well by the staff, who escorted me to the ADA seats, where I had a great view and a safe place to enjoy the show. Great place to see a performance, 5 out of 5 stars!"
"I had never been to the Showbox before. I did not request ADA seating ahead of time but was able to get seated there anyway. They were pretty great about that. Big ramp up to the VIP section and ADA seating. A lift to go downstairs for drinks/tables and bathroom. Bathrooms on main floor but difficult to get to through the crowd. Awesome large “intimate” venue for music shows!"
