"My son has attended this school for two years and we love it here. Being new parents and new to CoOps we were unaware of what was required. The staff was wonderful during orientation and gave us the information we needed to make the decision to come here. Our son has autism and we were allowed to come during every session, and the growth and development we saw, while giving him the opportunity to be around neurotypical peers was everything we were wanting for him. We've made some wonderful friendships with the parents and am glad that this school is a part of our community. We are transplants, and there was a global pandemic, so making friends was tough not just for our kid, but also for us, so we are glad to have had a place that afforded that to us. Seeing the kids grow with a sense of community is a wonderful thing. Seeing our kid grow and learn new skills, while being in a supportive environment where his needs are seen and understood is everything to me as a parent."

"My family has had a positive experience with Steliacoom co-op. As a parent of a child with a speech delay and lack of social interaction due to the pandemic. I have seen my son flower at this school. The Montessori inspired approach through play-based learning has allowed my son to cultivate problem solving and language skills. I enjoy how family focused the school is. This was my first experience for my son not always being near me. Both the teachers Mrs. Kelsey and Mrs.Sam are great at navigating the classroom and solving any concerns families may have.There is always adult supervision for the kiddos since the school supports parental involvement.As a mama bear who is VERY protective of her cubs this is hands down a great and safe space. The school offers many school-wide events for families, and free resources. The tuition is accessible and the quality exceeded my expectations for a preschool!"

"We have loved being part of this co-op community. My daughter has learned new social skills that she otherwise wouldn’t as an only child. She also has learned through interactive play, rather than just sitting and doing worksheets or being in a seat all day. Ms. Samantha is a caring and nurturing teacher that truly loves each and every one of her students and creates a family like environment for the children and parents alike. Being in a co-op school requires more time and presence as a parent than a traditional preschool, but being able to have an active role in my child’s early education has been so rewarding. We look forward to one more year at the school with Ms. Samantha before going off to kindergarten."

"The co-op preschool has been a good community for my family. The play-based classroom environment works well for my kid. It is important to note that the parent-led nature requires a significant time/energy commitment, but that is how the tuition stays affordable. I would reccomend this co-op."
