"Today's adventure: Pierce College planetarium show "Mesmerica", with friends. It consisted of vivid, swirling patterns and images set to music featuring handpan instruments. The music was very new age; interesting at first, very relaxing, but became a bit monotonous over time. The wildly colorful, constantly changing patterns are hard to describe except maybe like a real pleasant acid trip. Dark room, very comfy seats, sort of like having a psychedelic nap. We enjoyed the show, but might have liked it even better with different, or at least more varied music. "Far out, man, what a trip!""
