"Since we started the project Ram was very slow. They were not responsive to our requests. We ended up having problems with our plumbing, driveway, and our kitchen floor, as well as other aspects of the house. Overall it seemed like their work was shoddy and lacked professionalism, like they were doing everything on the cheap and taking advantage of people."

"RAM Construction in Charlotte NC is the worst custom builder in the area. Their quality of construction is poor and they cut every corner possible. This builder often has code violations. Also, if you are a neighbor to one of their builds, expect that they will not be respectful to you or the neighborhood. They often interrupt services, electric, internet, etc. They will never offer to make things right when they do cause issues and often get into an argument with the neighbors. Most other builders in the area at start of construction leave a note to inform of the build activity, apologize for any inconvenience, leave contact info and often a small gift. NOT RAM, they could care less about the neighborhoods they build in. They've cut our internet three times leaving us unable to work for three days each time while waiting for ATT to come and repair the line. They've dug up our power line and cut it with their bobcat, never reported, leaving a serious hazard for any in the area of the power line. Never once did we get an apology or an attempt to make things right. Their demolition guy even once, while on my property talking to me, flashed me his holstered gun! They are the worst builder in the area. Recommend you avoid them at all costs. They're only concern is to slap up some poor quality house in the most obtrusive way possible. So be aware of this company both as a buyer and as a neighbor."

"We were moving to Charlotte from DC during the pandemic and worked with RAM on the design and build of our new home. As soon as we stepped into one of their spec projects, we could feel the quality and care that went into their homes. They moved quickly and kept us updated with daily logs and photos. Their subcontractors were skilled and really took pride in their craft. RAM uses a construction management software called Buildertrend which made tracking of selections, allowances, change orders, and progress simple and transparent. We still access it occasionally to confirm paint colors, etc. Keith and Frank were easy to communicate with and responded quickly to questions. Lindsey assisted with finalizing selections and made sure to submit purchase orders quickly, which helped avoid delays related to supply chain issues. Our project manager, Todd was amazing and continued to work with us after we moved in on any minor loose ends. We would recommend RAM to anyone interested in building a new home."

"Ram is a local company that stands by their name and work. My wife and I contracted with Ram for a new construction design/build and we could not be happier with the process and end result. From day 1 it was a partnership not a seller/customer relationship. Ram was completely transparent about the entire process upfront including pricing. They did not ask for anything contractually until both sides were confident that the home that would be built met their quality standards and our wants & budget. The Ram design staff made the process of design and selections very easy for us. They always incorporated our input and provided options that looked great, were functional and were within the allowances. Ram never tried to up-sell us by suggesting or showing options or selections that were beyond our allowances. Communication and organization was great throughout the project. Ram uses an app that tracks plans, selections, change orders etc. that was always accessible. We would absolutely recommend Ram to friends and family who are in the market."
