"Not really an open Church. More of a historic site because of the early to mid 19th Century grave sites. One of which may be the grave site of the father of Abraham Lincoln. Which some have claimed that Abraham Lincoln may have been born and lived in Murphy, N.C. (A flimsy case and very much disputed claim). The building itself is in need of renovation."
