Reviews of Cherokee Historical Museum
"This was a great place to take the little kids! They are very friendly, and the lady at the desk gave them arrowheads. There are a lot of artifacts there and it is very cheap. Good thing to do on a rainy day."
"It is actually the Cherokee and Early Settler Historical Museum. It was three dollars per adult to enter and was worth every cent and more. We spent the better part of a day exploring their two floors of awesome relics and still didn't see it all. I really enjoyed some of the lore about the fairy tears and the moon eyed people. You should definitely come and bring the family. Even our kids were hooked on the history and art, they especially loved being gifted an arrowhead and quartz crystal each. I can't wait until the next time I am in town so I can come here again!"
"Neat little spot with tons of old stuff on the top floor and history of native Americans and trail of Tears on the bottom floor. Small enough to cover in under an hour, more if you read everything."
"Nice museum, but parking is very limited, so you will most likely need to walk a bit. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. There are a lot of different items from farming tools to guns and military uniforms."
"Staff was very friendly, very helpful and accommodating for photos/videos inside. They do have an elevator available for disabled/handicap visitors. A LOT to see, quite enjoyable!"
