"I think we had a unicorn experience. It was a Saturday around 1pm and the place was completely empty so we were taken right back, triaged, then put in a room. All the nurses were friendly and helpful. My daughter had a tooth injury and two dentists were called to come in from home, which wasn't too long of a wait. We had called ahead and spoken with someone about the injury and they confirmed we should come in. Overall an amazing experience for visiting an ER. The place is also clean and modern. Definitely go to the ER if your child has a tooth injury because it could also be a serious head injury, which I wasn't even considering."
"We end up in the ED a few times a year with a kiddo with complications/symptoms from a genetic disorder and Seattle Children's always does a great job. Sometimes depending on how many patients they're caring for, the wait can be long but sometimes not. We know they have to triage patient severity and sometimes we are on the less severe end. In the end, we always feel like we are treated well and we really appreciate the kind, caring culture that's expected there."
"We had a good experience with the staff. The only thing to bring it up…they don’t have a changing place for babies, yes, a children’s hospital with no changing table. It definitely needs to be addressed."
"This was an amazing ER experience. Me and my two siblings went in yesterday and they were nothing but nice to us. my brother is nonverbal autistic and was screaming the whole time because he is sick and overstimulated. they did not make us feel bad at all. they made us feel very comfortable and accepted. they got my two younger siblings in and out very quickly. I ended up needing to stay way longer and my nurse was Bennie. He made me feel seen and heard like no doctor ever has before and its a huge deal for me. he made me feel very comfortable and i had to get an EKG done by him and i felt SO COMFORTABLE. My room also didnt have a curtain (it was a safer room because the other rooms were full) and he put a cover over the door and asked the nurse outside to block the window while we did my EKG. (he offered to send me to a different room but i said it was okay because it was busy and i didnt want them to have to sanitize another room). He talked to me like a real person and not a child like most doctors do (im 17). every person i encountered here was nothing but nice. I just wanted to put it out there that if you need to go to an ER i would recommend this one. thank you ❤️"
"After being denied urgent care at two other locations, we were really fortunate to get checked in and admitted very quickly with our 7 month old who was having breathing problems. All the hospital staff from the front desk to senior doctors were efficient, polite, and very helpful with addressing our concerns and providing treatment to a fussy/struggling child. Can't thank you enough!"
