Reviews
"The museum displays, artifacts, short films, interactive and educational revolutionary history. Multi-floored (don't miss the actual basement displays which is great for adults and older children. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Try to time your visit with a guided tour of the Ford House next door (sign up at welcome desk), where many revolutionary notables stayed"
"A great set of exhibits sharing an important narrative about the harsh realities of winter as the war moved south. Be sure to stick around for the tour of the Ford House, and don't forget to collect your set of NPS Passport stamps."
"One of the best historical museums available. Being the first national park, it is rich with the history of this wonderful country. The Ford's Mansion is in impeccable condition, and we were delighted to know there is a free tour of the property, which of course can't be missed. The volunteer staff was wonderful and knowledgeable. If you are in Morristown, NJ, please visit this museum it is worth the trip."
"Sweet place to visit for history. Had a great time. House had stairs but chairs that you could sit in if you needed. Also a nice park."
"Pretty cool colonial artifacts. I really loved the fashion and apparel information. I highly recommend watching the movie about the struggle the soldiers went through during the hard winter. Its a powerful story of how much freedom meant to americans who were willing to go hungry and even shoeless in a never ending winter!"
