"Just came back from our Carneys Pub Amityville tour thanks to Pete Higgins himself. What a trip! Our driver Mark truly made this a person guided tour for us. He was witty, he was informative, he knew what we had to see and explained everything. He showed us where he lived in Ireland. When an operator/guide knows all39 names in 2 days and asks everyone how they are getting along, he is a true professional in every sense of the word. My next trip I will insist that Mark is our leader and am sure the Carneys pub family will agree. Slainte!"

"I am a travel agent and sold CIE for years. They are a wonderful tour company with decades of experience and have consistently provided my clients with phenomenal experiences. I am leaving this review because I see a lot of disgruntled customers left negative reviews over refunds during Covid, which I do not feel is a fair representation of this awesome company. Tours were cancelled unexpectedly all around the world and EVERY tour company had issues refunding clients quickly. (Trust me, I know as I navigated all my clients through that horrible time.) Again, just wanted to share what a great company this is and that after 7 years in the industry, I still support them and sell them with confidence. I actually just recommended them today, which is why the reviews came up."

"We (my 84 year old parents, a 78 year old friend of theirs and myself) booked a small group tour of Ireland in September 2019 for an August 2020 tour. We all paid deposits, insurance on the trip and I paid about 2/3 of the trip on good faith. The pandemic hit and the trip was cancelled. AA gave us our money back, CIE reimbursed some of the money but refused to reimburse $500+ and instead gave us a travel coupon to use for a future trip that is only good for a YEAR. That's ridiculous when we paid our money in good faith. They should reimburse all the money. Don't use this company as they are not interested in being a good faith company."

"This would have been our third experience with CIE Tours. The first two took us to Scotland. Both were excellent in every way. This year's destination was Ireland, but we were forced to cancel 3 weeks prior to departure. This review is to recognize CIE and their immediate and issue-free response to our cancellation. I cancelled our reservation this morning, and received a refund (less penalties I was fully aware of) this evening. The individuals that served us so well, Ian McCarthy and Roisin Sisk, were accommodating and professional in every way. The high level of service we received from them will bring us back to CIE International Tours just as soon as we are ready to travel again."
