Prairie Hotel

"The ladies at Prairie were very helpful and polite, which definitely counts in today's world. The rooms were modern, clean, and spacious, as was the hotel. It is located next to a restaurant and, I believe, a theater, with a Walmart right down the road. I give them a 3 because while service was good and the rooms were just fine, they do not offer a continental breakfast ( perhaps because there is a restaurant across the street) and the room price seems a bit high for not having a pool or a spa. I don't travel much, so perhaps I'm expecting too much. On a positive note, they do offer senior discounts, plus you aren't staying in Olympia."

"I was in Yelm for 3 nights. Loved the hotel a lot. Walking distance to lots of amenities. Clean and very good value. Staff was friendly and accommodating. There is coffee in the rooms and entrance to hotel. A fridge, microwave and items to purchase and cook can be bought in lobby. As a woman I felt very safe. Thank you Prairie Hotel. I’ll be back often.."

"My room was well cleaned. Smelled great and seemed fresh. Everything appeared up to date and orderly. Bed was good. Check in was easy. Walking distance to several places to eat. My room was facing road near the corner of the building. Road noise was noticeable but not terrible. I would stay here again. Thank you"

"Traveled 'home' to visit family and love the cleanliness and comfort of the Prairie Hotel. The front desk receptionists are kind and friendly. The rooms are large. An assortment of microwaveable breakfast, lunch and dinner items available for purchase. The fruit infused water was great as well as the coffee in the lobby area with an assortment of creamer options. The note and mints in the room were a very nice touch! Walking distance to cinema, restaurants, etc. Highly recommend!"

"This hotel exceeded my expectations. Although not cheap I felt it was worth every penny. The extra touches in our room were fabulous. Service was above and beyond. Day two they checked on us and offered to switch out towels and take out trash. The large jetted tub in our room was perfect for a plus sized person to lounge in and there were plenty of fluffy towels to dry off with and hooks to hang them on. Yes, hooks! A mat was was provided for the shower which saved my butt, literally. Plenty of pillows and blankets. The deck felt private and had a great view even with the clouds. The king studio suite was perfect for a bestie getaway. The movie theater was close enough to walk and we enjoyed the restaurants close by."
