"My parents just moved to an area near by. I forgot to pay a parking meter no big deal got a ticket for $20. I wanted to pay it right away and it didn’t show up online. Tried the day after and it didn’t show up. Ended up forgetting about it and remembered 3 weeks later. When I got it in the ticket was now $40 plus a $3 online fee. Never heard of tickets that need to be paid in 2 weeks or less and on top of that tickets that need time to be put in the system. Seems to me like they want people to forget about them to make them pay more, greedy township."
"Parking meter situation is greedy and horrendous"
"Strongly urge tourists to visit a different city, spend your money elsewhere than this crooked town. They require parking meter tickets to be paid online only but then charge an additional $2 convenience fee. Well considering I'm not given any other options to pay this ticket, it's bad business practice to charge citizens a "convenience" fee when you're not offering any other options and certainly not making this process convenient."
"Still closed because of corona"
