"I love this park. Been coming here to walk or sit for years. Very peaceful and the road makes a nice shady walk. Love riding my electric skateboard and just sitting under a tree with a good book. The mill has a really interesting military history too it you decide to look it up. It was a stopping point for soldiers to rest and restock and store supplies."

"Nice area to sit near the McMichael Creek with picnic tables. The Old Mill itself is interesting historically, though only open at specific days and times. There's a hiking trail along the creek which can be very steep and runs along the edge of a steep drop to the creek below so be careful with very small children. There is also a paved road that can be biked along. You can see plenty of people fishing along the water and lots walking dogs or enjoying the outdoors."
