Comfort Inn Lacey - Olympia

"I have stayed here many times over the years and for the most part it has been ok for the price. But lately in the last couple of times I've stayed here in February and March, their breakfast has been really... really bad. I realize that breakfast is a perk, but either do it well or don't do it at all. When I say bad it's bad. They serve the EXACT same thing every day. The eggs were put out in HUGE single chunks as if they were cooked in the oven like one single pan of eggs and were then just put out. Sausage now days come precooked from the store as heat and serve, and they just barely did that. They have biscuits and gravy and a waffle machine... and 3 choices of cold cereal. This all sounds ok, but it's served as a afterthought as if whoever prepares the breakfast hates their job. I travel ALL the time and stay in hotels a lot. I'll probably not be going back since there are other comparable priced hotel in the Lacey/Olympia area that take their breakfasts more seriously. Either do it good OR don't serve breakfast halfway or less than halfway."

"This is a nice cozy hotel, well kept, very accommodating, safe and secure parking lot, and I love the pool and hot tub (from a previous visit). I stayed here tonight to hang out during a snow storm, and I had the pleasure of speaking with Hugh. He is an absolute class act and I would forever go out of my way to stay at this hotel because of him alone. Hugh, if you are reading this, thank you for the great hospitality and the great conversation. 10/10 highly recommend."

"Booked this hotel from Priceline. The photos and reviews (from Priceline) made the hotel seem so clean and nice. It smelled like cigarettes and our toilet kept getting backed up. The shower tub wouldn’t drain well either so you’d stand in a pool of water. Staff was friendly."

"We were put in a room by the elevator on the second floor and there was some sort of compressor or something that would go off intermittently even during the sleeping hours. It was a bit frustrating to be in that room. Avoid Room 216! Staff was super friendly. Since we were only staying there one night and literally only slept there for about 8 hours and then left, I didn't feel it was worth complaining about. I stay there once a year to visit family and arrive late at night and leave that check out. I will continue to stay there, but I will be requesting a different room next time."
