"The staff at this hotel are nothing but amazing and nice. Nothing but good things to say about them. The hotel has it's problems, rooms could be updated a little but we never had an issue at all while staying here and we will continue to stay when needed"
"What can you say about the Holiday Lodge? Anyone on Earth might find it to be a tough challenge to collect themselves and give this lodging a comprehensive review. For me, I've given it a week to collect myself and my thoughts, though I won't claim this to be comprehensive but if is by the end, you're very welcome. I arrived at the lodge promptly at 3 in the morning. Problem? Nope. No complaints from anyone (besides my sore lids!) Get to the front door of the office, it's locked, but I knew it would be locked! So no worries:) Not only does the front desk attendant greet me, they gave me a great deal. Pull up to the room with key in hand (Real Key, NO PLASTIC), turn the lock *click* and walk in. Wow. No smell whatsoever (rare), there was a box in the corner built out of the wall? I didn't ask. There are two lamps thoughtfully placed between the beds but no outlet there for them to be powered which gave us all a good laugh. The beds were really soft and I slept like a babe but unfortunately I think the softness made my back hurt a bit later so I gotta dock a star (sorry), also there is no A/C which should be normalized but my two roommates got a little hot one night so out of respect for them I guess I'll dock another star (sorry). The shower is good for icy, scalding, and anything in between-pick your poison. Eventually I liked the taste of the tap. Like others have mentioned some of the towels have stains but surely they are washed and get the job done in a pinch, share the "all-whites" if you must. There's a fridge, and even coffee in the lobby. I am not an extraordinary person, and people are more alike than we are different. I loved my time here at the Holiday Lodge, and I am sure that you will too."
"We made a hotel reservation and tried to check in, but no one was at the front desk. We tried to ring the door bell and call multiple times. With no answer. It may have been a little late but after checking for other options, they still showed you could book a hotel through them. There was, what looked like, a rave on one side of the motel. We read the reviews and knew what we were getting into, but were willing to stay for the night just to rest. But instead at 1:30 AM, after multiple calls and standing outside ringing the bell for service for a good while, we are forced to drive 3 hours back home. I would not waste your time booking here."
"This motel cost $110 a room, the next cheapest on the Olympic peninsula was $220. This is a case of getting what you pay for. Pros: The room had beds and shower. Cons: There were no sheets on either bed, the blanket had cigarette burns, the smoke detector was covered with plastic, trash was present throughout the room, the shower didn't drain well, the carpet was torn up. And this was not the worst hotel I've stayed in."
"Where this 1950s rustic motel might lose points in high tech, Uber, modern, amenity saturated things that other big hotels have to offer, this beautiful little quaint place gains in unbridled service, needs anticipation, friendliness and professionalism of the staff, lighting bolt responsive maintenance department , extreme cleanliness, around the clock security, and a tually reasonable and affordable rate, all leave a very pleasant feeling of being not only a guest, but a temporary part of the community. I can find a good hotel anywhere, I can sometimes find a hotel that provides consistent, excellent service or even more rarely has the staff that actually loves what they do, but never have. I found all of those things together. Until I came to Holiday Lodge"
