"Back in October I had excision surgery and hysterectomy, with Dr. Mosbrucker. My recovery was (is) longer than expected because I had nerve damage and I don't react to pain meds well. However, I have started to feel so much better, but its still weird to walk by pads and tampons and not grab a pack when they're on sale. But that pain is gone- my period which used to hang over my head like this ominous cloud every month- just looming there, its gone. And I'm elated every time I remember I won't have my period. Everything that improved started off super subtle. I wake up in the mornings and don't hate it- I used to wake 5-6 days of the week with just this soul crushing fatigue. Now its down to maybe 1-2 days every month, and that's if I stay up late! I used to exercise because I was supposed to, because it (supposedly) lead to a healthy body- but I love it? working out? makes me? HAPPY?! I do still have some PMS symptoms because I still have my left ovary (She's doing double time!). But its not a severe- its mild PMS. This is what normal people deal with. Like some crabbiness, a little bit of sound aversion- but I don't have the roller coaster of RAGE and then exhaustion peaks I once did. I feel more focused and energized the three weeks out the month that my PMS symptoms once ruled over. I just want to let everyone know I had THREE people (two medical staff at the clinic and one hospital intake person) not just Dr. Mosbrucker, who asked me what I wanted to do. How I wanted the surgery to go, what I wanted done and what organs I wanted removed. They listened to my limits and had me write them down and sign it. I then had a nurse (I wish I could remember her name) who talked with me in detail the morning of my surgery about what I wanted. She was my advocate during the surgery. I also appreciate that Dr. Mosbrucker put in a stent as a prevention for future surgeries. On top of that, my incisions healed very quickly, which is something that I worried about as previous surgeries (not with Dr. Mosbrucker) I had an incision that didn't close or heal for a WHOLE YEAR. Everything I wanted to have happen happened and I couldn't be more grateful. I also wanted to thank NP Crystal Walker she and the staff at the Pacific Endometriosis and Pelvic Surgery did their best to get in touch with me and answer my questions as soon as possible (they are closed on fridays so definitely try and get in touch on wednesday or thursday if something is bothering you!)Crystal in particular helped me and answered my questions even after the twelve week recovery period. Everyday I feel better, its like this weight has been taken out of me. Its fantastic."
"So thankful to have found Dr. Mosbrucker. After years of my pain and symptoms being ignored and discounted by multiple "womens health specialists", Dr. Mosbrucker listened, took me seriously and for the first time properly diagnosed me and provided me with the necessary surgery to address the issues properly. For the first time in 20 years I'm pain free and my only regret is that I didn't find her years ago. Thank you Dr. Mosbrucker."
"Crystal Walker is the most kind and attentive provider that I have ever seen. She takes the time to listen and understand, researches and presents evidence-based recommendations outside of the appointment, and ensures that all side effects and questions have been discussed and followed up on. I feel safe, understood, and truly seen as her patient and I’m so thankful she is serving women in the endometriosis community."
"I have never felt more validated, better understood, or better cared for in my endometriosis journey. I went here for excision after my first lap did not play out well. The team has been remarkably supportive. The process and pricing were very clear. The post-op pain management was the best I've ever seen. Dr. Mosbrucker is amazing and I feel like I've been given my life back. They are so worth the struggle of out-of-network care."
"Dr Mosbrucker is world class. I have been dealing with endometriosis and other hormonal issues since as long as I can remember, and I had seen multiple doctors in Chicago, Seattle, and even Mayo. When I found that a pelvic pain specialist was in my backyard, I knew I had to see her. Dr M has changed my life and my outlook on pain. She is so knowledgeable, open to discussing all options, and is very clear and thorough. I cannot recommend her enough to anyone, not just in Washington, but everywhere! She is worth the travel and the wait. Thanks Dr M!!!"
