"This isn't a Thousand Trails campground! It's run by KOA! We were told not to drink water upon arrival for a 3week stay! Gosh could have picked up a case of water before driving out to this campground! 3 weeks without being able to cook or clean! I asked to have manager call me! They never did nor did I ever see a Thousand Trails person working! All yellow koa people!"
"It was like a place where KOA rented some sites on the Thousand trail and operated. There is also a site in the forest in a very large place, and it is a campground of various types. When I went inside, there was a tent site around Grandy creek and there was a wide lawn everywhere, so it was a pleasant atmosphere. It's a very good location to enjoy the trail and Hiking, and the bicycle road is connected, so you can enjoy a good view. But people who don't enjoy outdoor activities may feel a little bored. It was good because there was a pet playground and wooden chips, and it was nice to have an individual bathroom that can lock the door inside, and it was comfortable to have a 24-hour laundry Near by MT Baker , North Cascade National park etc . Since it is operated by KOA, I think it is right that the KOA member site is in a better position than the Thousand Trail member site. But I think it's a matter of course."
"Kind and lovely people. The camp is kept clean. Great swimming for the kids. Nice and peaceful. Wonderful Staff"
"We had high hopes for this campground but unfortunately we had some major issues. 1. The TT sites are far from all the amenities, whereas the KOA sites are not. 2. The washrooms were disgusting. The showers were not maintained and the floors were full of hair and mud. 3. The staff had a few gems but there were a few women who were just awful. 4. The store was closed on Sunday and Monday while we were there and it was hard to find staff. 5. My daughter lost a bracelet that she bought there and when she approached a staff member about the lost and found, the grumpy woman said she couldn't go up to the office. The pros were that there were lots of fun things for the kids to do, a nice bouncy pillow, organized crafts and activities. The pool was nice and the location in the mountains was beautiful! I just wish they could improve the quality of the service."
"Nice campground. Playground with jumping pillow for the kids. Large open field space. Horseshoes and mini golf. Pool is nice, a little small though. Have not seen the hot open. Lots of activities throughout the day Saturday, starting with breakfast. Store on-site, but haven't been in it. The staff is friendly and work hard to keep guests happy. Big, open sites. Multiple picnic areas. Main complaint is that the restroom usually has one or two stalls out of order. Overall, has become my favorite campground in the area for Thousand Trails."
