"After reading other google reviews I felt compelled to write my own positive review. I have depended on Whidbey Primary Care Oak Harbor for the past 10 years -- They have been immediately responsive to my care needs by either by phone calls or leaving a message - to my Dr. - on my health portal. They have offered several care alternatives if I cannot be seen immediately. Any tests, referrals for additional services were executed the same day and within 48 hours someone reached out for scheduling. There has not been a problem in continuity in over 8 years with RX prescriptions or refills. Every person I interacted with in the office was more than polite and informative. "I'm very disappointed in how the service has changed since they got rid of most of the Doctors. I can't even get my prescription that I have been taking for 20 plus years. Evidently I must make an appointment so they can refill it. The appointment is the 8th of this month . They told me they would give me a small prescription at Safeway so I wouldn't run out and since I made an appointment they would send my refill to Kiser. They didn't do that and now I have two pills left . You can't get a hold of anyone who can help you, just a service person. What a way to run a medical facility."

"Everytime I come in on time for my appointments they make me wait super long to get to the back knowing I have a almost 2 year old who is hard to keep still and be patient I don’t know if it’s discrimination at this point but it’s ridiculous most nurses are rude and the front desk is and me and my kids and family get the dirtiest looks from all staff for no reason . And some of the people waiting. It’s extremely uncalled for everyone deserves proper care and customer service no matter who they are or what race they are . I recommend not coming here or going off island ."

"I have been a patient here before but left because it was a terrible experience but I want to warn parents of young adult neurodivergent kids. My kid came here and was denied a referral for a specialist because he worked at McDonald's and ate the free meal they provide. The provider is Amy Walchenbach. Fat phobia kills. It is abuse. This is illegal. This is dangerous because it tells our kids that this abuse is normal and okay to deal with. Thank you for reading my review. EDIT: very poor response Whidbey Health but right in line with your view of your patients. Easy to ignore and dismiss. Thank you for proving my point"

"I have had SUCH a great experience with this primary care with everyone in the staff included. With quick and friendly phone calls, payment plans, quality service and an amazing PCP, It is a weight off my shoulder not to feel dreadful going to the doctors office. Huge shoutout to Kayla Gomez for being such a wonderful provider and truly listening to all my concerns and making a game plan to get a solution."
