"I wish I could give HomeGoods zero stars because of the abysmal service I received from Assistant Manager Alemu. My recent visit was an absolute disaster, and it's crucial to share the extent of my dissatisfaction. Alemu's attitude was nothing short of appalling. From the moment I sought assistance, it was clear that customer service is not a priority for him. His dismissive demeanor and disrespectful tone left me feeling utterly undervalued as a customer. Communication with Alemu was an exercise in frustration. Instead of addressing my concerns with even a modicum of professionalism, he chose to respond with rudeness and condescension. I have never encountered such a lack of courtesy from someone in a managerial position. What's worse is Alemu's blatant disregard for customer inquiries. It's evident that he views customers as an inconvenience rather than the lifeblood of the store. His indifference and lack of interest in providing even basic assistance are unacceptable. I strongly caution anyone considering a visit to HomeGoods, as my experience with Alemu has left an indelible mark of disappointment. I sincerely hope HomeGoods management reevaluates the suitability of Alemu for a role that requires a customer-centric approach. This one-star review reflects the sheer incompetence and disrespect I endured during my regrettable visit."
"When I was checking out, the clerk, an Indian lady with a white mask, asked if I wanted to get 10% off my purchase to sign up for a rewards account with HomeGoods. I thought sure as I had over $120 worth of charges and I always like saving money. I figured this was just a general rewards account where I sign up and get emails on deals and can collect points, similar to Fred Meyer. It turns out that I was actually applying for a credit card and they did a HARD CREDIT PULL on my credit score! I in no way was informed that this was a credit card nor of the credit pull that automatically went through. I could tell that the lady was getting a bonus with every new customer she signed up and completely disregarded to tell me what was happening. I'm a 24 y/o male, why would she think I need a credit card at TJ Max, HomeGoods, and Marshalls. She couldn't even cancel the transaction after it went through so now I am calling and trying to cancel it. Horrible experience and HomeGoods just lost a customer for life."
"This is the HomeGoods I go to most often. I'm not entirely sure how it compares to other HomeGoods stores, but the music here is notably terrible, and the store often smells funky in the front corner. They shuffle inventory more often than I initially would've guessed. For example, in summer, they have ample pots for your plants, but those will clear out in time for fall holidays and they will have almost no pots available. They sell products that are bad for you and should probably be banned, so do your research in the store if you're not sure. All told, come in with an open mind! Staff are lovely and parking is plentiful. Not too far from bus lines."
"Love this location. It's very easy to get to, and the shelves are well-stocked even over-stocked. Staff are always friendly and patient, despite long lines at checkout."
"Good place, usually, for discount housewares. Stock varies continuously. A bit hit-and-miss. Last time I bought some nice serving bowls and plastic tumblers for poolside."
