Kizuki Ramen & Izakaya (Beaverton)

"The atmosphere here is nice. However, the ramen broth was exceptionally salty. The chashu was like leather in both taste and texture. The flavors are just not there, I’m not sure why there is so much hype about this place. I got the spicy miso and my girlfriend got the chicken tan tan, and both were below expectation. I try to be objective, and finding quality ramen is my passion. This is not the place for top quality, even though the impression is there"

"The first photo I took was after I had already dispersed the egg throughout, and eaten a few bites - it just looked so good I forgot to take a picture! Food was so good I came back and grabbed another Gyudon the next day, and remembered to grab a photo of it then. Food is FANTASTIC, atmosphere is great! Staff is friendly, but I noticed I had to ask for drink refills (both times I went). That's the only reason for a 4 star instead of 5 on service. Overall a great experience, and will be back probably more than once."

"I've been on the look out for tsukemen dipping noodles in portland, so thank you kizuki! if anyone knows any other places to get tsukemen, let a girl know! there are a few locations in oregon, but I do prefer the beaverton one over the others. sometimes a wait even on weekdays. love the decor, atmosphere & open kitchen concept. the service is always super friendly & quick when I go. I've had several of their ramens & you can't really go wrong with any of them, but my favs are: - tsukemen dipping noodles (hot, tonkatsu) - concentrated, more flavorful broth served on the side. dip noodles. love, love, love . - yuzu shio - love almost anything with yuzu - garlic tonkatsu shoyu ramen"

"I saw online that the Garlic Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen was the most popular, so I couldn't resist. It absolutely did not disappoint! If you like garlic, that's the one for you!! The portion is generous, and EVERYTHING in your bowl has a great taste on itself (OMG the egg!). Besides that, the ambiance was really cool. Playing J-Pop the whole time :) I can't wait to come back and try some of the other ramens."
