"We were just passing through on a road trip, and we stopped so the kids could get out for a bit. It's a super cool park. It was very clean, and it had a lot of dog walkers out and about."
"The flow of the skatepark is lacking, but there are a lot of obstacles to hit for the size of the park. People are generally considerate of other riders. Lots of people walk their dogs on the walking trails so you cannot have a dog loose in the skatepark with you. There's bathrooms as well, although I'm not sure if they stay open year round."
"The fireworks display on Independence Day Eve was really fun. I was surprised that there were more people than I thought, but it took a short time to get out of there. It was impressive to see people coming out of the place in an orderly manner. Exciting music played during the fireworks display, and it was a really happy moment."
"Update: 16 April 2022: I'll say they sure use a lot of power equipment, i.e., weed whackers, mowers and leaf blowers. I guess it's spring. What a wonderful community park, a place of "ordered liberty" as one famous Supreme Court Justice would say. The park is divided roughly in 3 parts: 1) baseball diamonds (3) and tennis/pickle ball courts; 2) soccer fields (several); and 3) the covered area, playground, bathrooms, drinking fountains, picnic area, skate park, and parking off of Ruddell Road and also off of 45th Ave. There's also a seasonal snack bar for ball games, I'd guess. The bathrooms are extremely clean and the park is very clean and manicured, too. No smoking nor vaping, so it's family oriented. A real jewel in the community!"
"Nice park, it's pretty huge, has a large parking lot, and has a lot of things to use such as: playground area, basketball court, tennis court, baseball fields, soccer fields, skate park, and restrooms. Tons of open grass to utilize for volleyball nets or whatever you feel like using the open area for. There are a few gazebos and picnic tables as well, and a few park benches. Very few shaded areas though, not a whole lot of trees, so if you want shade then definitely bring your giant umbrellas or canopy's."
