"Three stars because they have an absolutely amazing selection of wine, mead, beers, and ciders. They have a great bar and sit down area to enjoy your drink right there if you don't want to wait. Now, for the reason, they didn't get all the stars. This is beyond overpriced. Nothing here, even if it was marked on sale, is anywhere close to any competitors' prices. unless they have a location at the airport, then that one might actually be more expensive. Also don't bother trying to find an employee because they don't seem to have name tags or any kind of uniform and I honestly got the impression that if you just sat down at a table and popped open a beer you could probably get away with out paying for it. Of course, I am making a few assumptions there. The other customers seem to be very friendly and engaging so if you saw somebody looking at a cooler that you were interested in go ahead and ask them what they were thinking about and maybe that can help you make up your mind I had several wonderful conversations with many customers there, of course it's possible some of them were employees but there was no way for me to know. The only employee that I was confident about was the one that was working the register on the opposite side from the bar."

"Amazing selection. Has to be one of the largest and most comprehensive craft beer selections in the country. Staff is helpful and friendly. Food carts outside are awesome. Rotating taps always provide a chance to try some killer beers."

"What’s John’s Marketplace all about? It’s a wonderful world class beer & wine market that also has a bar where you can get amazing beers like the Elysian Dank Dust on tap when it’s in season. Rows and aisles of amazing beer & wine from all over the world can be found here nicely organized for the friendly staff to help you find what you are looking for. Small snacks are also sold that make for a good pairing or as appetizers. Parking was easy and the men’s bathroom was clean as you need a key to enter and use. Highly recommend this place if you are looking to find a new beer or wine or looking for that hard to find one or two."
